The best indicator of height in our Indian Cinema was, is and will always be Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. That is because before Amitabh came into the film industry, height was never a thing. With Amitabh Bachchan came his enormous height, 6 ft 2 in, which was ridiculously tall during those days, especially in the film business. Manoj Kumar was also the same height, but you couldn’t tell it on screen, because of his chubbiness. Amitabh was tall, lanky and thin, so his height made him look a lot more taller.

There are some websites which suggest the word ‘peak height’, which is ridiculous cause height cannot change after maturity unless you chip off a part of your leg or head. Look up images over the web and hope you have a full body photo of him/ her standing alongside the legendary icon. From the pics, a height of 5 ft 11 and 3/4 inches can be concluded for Akshay Kumar, or a quarter of a half inch below 6.
